What New Westminster homeowners say
“Would be great if you could figure out a way to not leave so many small pieces of metal all around. So far I'm happy with the result and ok with how the process went. Would have be nice to be informed bette r”
“Interlock could have improved their service, because if they say they are going to finish off what they started they should. There were two parts to the project and only one has been done and it has been two weeks since the first was finished. If they could hurry up and come back and finish the project.”
“Communication between the installer and head office may have made the problem solving of the snow guards smoother.Of course, having all the materials ready would have been better. Thank you for our roof. We feel secure and comfortable in the knowledge that it is durable and reliable and that we will not need another.”

Roofing in New Westminster: what to plan for
Built for a Vancouver winter
A roof here spends most of the winter wet. Cedar holds that water and softens; asphalt granules trap the debris moss grows in. Aluminum absorbs nothing and cannot rot. Valleys and gutters still collect needles and leaves, so we'll tell you what to clear and how often rather than call the roof maintenance-free.
The look of cedar or slate on an older house
Character homes, Vancouver Specials and 1970s split-levels often carry a roof that's heavier or harder to keep up than it should be. Interlock's Cedar Shingle, Shake and Slate profiles keep the look at roughly 2 to 3.5 kg per square metre, a fraction of concrete tile.
Locked on four sides
Winter storms off the Strait lift loose edges and exposed screw heads. Interlock panels lock to each other on all four sides with the fasteners concealed. Wind resistance is warranted to 193 km/h (120 mph) installed to manufacturer specification.
Townhouses and strata councils
Plenty of our Metro Vancouver work starts with a strata vote. We bring the product documents, colour samples and warranty terms the council will ask for, and one colour and profile can run across every unit.
